This walkthrough takes you from signed-in dashboard to a live campaign URL you can share. The first time you create a campaign you also claim a workspace subdomain, which takes about 30 seconds to set up.

Before you start

You need:

  • A Voicegram account (any plan, including Free).
  • An available channel in your plan. Channels are a single combined pool that covers both widgets and campaigns. If you are already at your channel limit, the dashboard will prompt you to free one before creating the new campaign.

Step 1. Open Campaigns in the dashboard

Go to Dashboard › Campaigns. If you are not signed in, you will be prompted to log in first and then sent straight to the Campaigns page.

If you have not yet claimed a workspace subdomain, the page shows a "Claim your workspace subdomain" prompt. If you already have one, the page shows your existing campaigns and a New campaign button.

Step 2. Claim your subdomain (first-time only)

If this is your first campaign:

  1. Type the name you want into the Workspace name field. Lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens, 3 to 40 characters.
  2. Watch the live availability indicator under the field. If it says Available, click Claim subdomain.
  3. The dashboard shows a progress screen while your subdomain is set up. This typically takes 10 to 30 seconds. You can leave the page and come back; you will get an email when the workspace is ready.
  4. When the workspace is ready, the page transitions to a success view and you can move on to creating your first campaign.

See Custom subdomain for the rules around what you can claim and how the subdomain lifecycle works.

Admin role required

Only members with the admin role on the workspace can claim or change the subdomain, and create, edit, or delete campaigns. Members can read campaigns but not modify them.

Step 3. Create the campaign

Click New campaign to open the create form. The form has four sections, plus a live preview pane on the right.

Required fields:

  • Campaign name. The page title visitors see, and the name you use to find this campaign in the dashboard. Examples: "Holiday Feedback 2026", "Annual Conference", "Joe's Pizza".
  • URL slug. Auto-derived from the name. Lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens, 3 to 50 characters, no consecutive hyphens. You can edit it; once you do, it stops auto-deriving.
  • Headline. The big prompt text on the landing page. Example: "Tell us how we did".

Optional fields:

  • Subhead. Supporting copy under the headline. Example: "Two minutes, no pressure".
  • CTA button label. Defaults to "Leave a voice review". Replace if a different verb fits.
  • Thank-you message. Shown after a visitor finishes recording.
  • Accent color. Eight pre-vetted swatches (Violet, Fuchsia, Rose, Amber, Emerald, Sky, Indigo, Slate). Defaults to your workspace default, or Voicegram violet.
  • Notification emails. Up to 10 addresses that receive an email when a voicegram comes in. Pre-fills with your account's primary email so you do not silently miss notifications.

Pre-selected, change anytime:

  • Landing template. Three options: Minimal, Warm, Bold. Defaults to Minimal.
  • Flyer template. Three options: Flyer A, Flyer B, Flyer C. Defaults to Flyer A.

The preview pane on the right updates as you type, so you can see how the page will look before you publish.

Click Create campaign.

Step 4. Test your campaign before you share it

After creating, the dashboard takes you to the campaign detail view. Before the Download tab unlocks, you need to confirm the campaign works:

  1. Click the live URL to open the campaign in a new tab (ideally on your phone, since most visitors will scan a QR or tap a link from mobile).
  2. Tap the CTA button. The recording widget should open.
  3. Enter your email, get the 6-digit code, verify, record a short test message, and submit.
  4. Confirm the voicegram lands in your inbox.
  5. Back in the dashboard, click I tested it.

The Download tab unlocks after this confirmation. This gate prevents you from printing 500 flyers or blasting a link to your subscriber list with a misconfigured campaign.

Step 5. Grab your share assets

Open the Download tab on the campaign detail page. You will find:

  • Public campaign link. The URL to share. Copy it with the Copy button.
  • QR code. Download as SVG or PNG. Branded with your accent color.
  • Social share tiles. Five variants (Twitter / X, LinkedIn, Instagram square, Instagram story, Facebook). Download individually or as a zip.
  • Printable flyer. One-page PDF in Letter or A4, using your selected flyer template.

Share the URL in an email, post a share tile to your channel, print the flyer for an event, drop the QR on a business card. Every asset already points at the right URL and uses your branding.
