You are not paying for storage. You are paying for everything that has to happen between someone tapping record and you reading a summary.
Not sure a voice message beats what you have now? Compare it against your contact form, including the cases where the form is still the better choice.
Every voicegram costs real money to transcribe, summarize, and store. So rather than selling a free tier with limits you would outgrow in a week, we keep the first plan at $16 and let the 14-day trial run the plan you pick.
If a single voicegram converts into new business or makes your product and customer experience better, the plan has paid for itself many times over.
Trials, billing, limits, and how the widget and campaign pages fit together.
Start any paid plan and get everything that plan includes for 14 days. A credit card is required to begin your trial, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime before then and you pay nothing.
There is no free plan to choose, but there is a free tier. Any account without an active subscription runs on it: your website widget keeps collecting on one active channel, capped at 5 voicegrams a month with 60-second recordings and 30-day storage. Hosted campaign pages pause, and you can switch them back on from your dashboard once you subscribe. Paid plans start with a 14-day trial.
Two reasons, both about what you get. Requiring a card keeps throwaway signups out, which is what lets us run real phone and email verification on every sender instead of rationing it. It also means nothing breaks on day 15 if the trial is working for you. You are not charged during the trial, the exact charge date is shown before you confirm, and cancelling before it stops the charge entirely.
No. Use the widget if you have a website, and/or create a hosted campaign page if you do not. Many customers use both. A hosted campaign page is also great for in-person settings: put the QR code on a flyer, a table tent, or a business card at an event so people can leave you a voice message on the spot.
A widget embeds on your own site. A campaign is a branded page we host for you at your-brand.voicegram.io. Both use the same recording, transcription, AI summary, and delivery, and both land in the same inbox.
Each plan includes a set number of voicegrams, prepaid in your plan price. You are not charged anything extra until you go past that included amount, and only voicegrams that are successfully recorded and delivered ever count.
Just copy and paste a single line of JavaScript code into your website. No technical expertise required. It works with any website builder, CMS, or custom site.
Yes. Add the data-voicegram-trigger attribute to any element on your site (a button, a link, a div, even an image) and clicking it opens the widget. You can keep the floating bubble visible, hide it and rely entirely on your own triggers, or both. Use data-voicegram-trigger="close" or data-voicegram-trigger="toggle" if you want a control that closes the widget or toggles it.
Our AI transcription supports 30+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, and many more. The widget automatically detects the spoken language.
It travels to storage over TLS and sits encrypted with AES-256 at rest. Every company that touches it is named on our subprocessors page, so you can check the list rather than take our word for it. Employee access to production systems is limited on a need-to-know basis. If your plan has a retention period, recordings are permanently deleted at the end of it. We never sell your data or your senders’ data, and we share it only with the subprocessors above and with any integration you connect yourself. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
Yes. Email legal@voicegram.io and we will get one back to you. Our subprocessor list is public, retention limits are enforced per plan, and recording consent is disclosed to the person recording at the moment they record.
You'll be charged the overage rate for additional voicegrams. Overage rates are discounted compared to the included rate, rewarding higher usage.
Yes! The number of active channels depends on your plan. The free tier and Starter each include 1 active channel, Pro includes up to 3, Business includes up to 5, and Enterprise includes up to 10. Business and Enterprise plans also support subdomains (app.domain.com) and path-based domains (domain.com/app). Need more? Contact us for custom options.
Storage duration varies by plan: 30 days on the free tier, 90 days (Starter), 1 year (Pro), or unlimited (Business and Enterprise). You can download recordings anytime before they expire.
Yes! All paid plans (Starter and above) include full widget customization: colors, gradients, button style, and positioning. Pro and above also get email branding to customize notification email appearance. A small "Powered by Voicegram" credit with a privacy link stays on the widget for every plan, so your visitors always know who processes their message and where to read the privacy policy.
No. Visitors just enter their email or phone number for verification (to prevent spam), then record their message. The whole process takes under a minute.
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
Your existing voicegrams keep the retention period they were created with. Only new voicegrams after the downgrade use the lower plan's retention period. Nothing is retroactively deleted.
Once a voicegram reaches the end of its retention period, it is permanently removed from your inbox and can no longer be played or downloaded. Make sure to download any important recordings before they expire.
